Conga Line Success!!
We didn’t break the world record…but we did set a Canadian record!
On Saturday, June 16th, the Westside Legacy Trail was host to a brand new group of users. One hundred and ten people came out, put on roller skates,
and attempted to break a world record that was set in Miami, Florida.
Participants came from across Alberta, the Kootenays, and throughout the valley!
The event was always more than attempting a new world record. It was about continuing to raise awareness for our world class trail, and to show it off to new users. So in our books, it was a massive success! Not a single person was without a wide smile on their face!
Thank you to all the volunteers, to Station Pub for providing audio equipment, and to all the wonderful people who came out and made this event so memorable!
