Wanted: Auction Items!

[lead]The Columbia Valley Greenways Trail Alliance is excited to announce several fundraising events for the Westside Legacy Trail.[/lead]

The Run, Ride, & Rock the K2 Ranch will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016

The Shaunessy’s are generously opening the gates to their legendary K2 Ranch for a fun-filled afternoon of activities (including a guided bike, run or hike to McCarthy Lake) followed by a pig roast and barn dance. During the barn dance a silent auction will be held.

The Eagle Ranch Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016.

Eagle Ranch Golf Course is opening its course to us on July 11th, donating all 144 green fees directly to the Westside Legacy Trail. In addition Greenways, we will be hosting a dinner and silent auction.

All proceeds from these events will be donated to the development of the Westside Legacy Trail – a multi-use, non-motorized, paved trail connecting the communities of Invermere and Fairmont Hot Springs. Our goal is to complete the trail with community engagement, encouraging businesses and residents to participate in ways they find meaningful and unique.

We are asking you to participate through the provision of a donation item for our silent auction. Your donation could be as simple as a gift certificate or a product package.

A donation form for silent auction items can be filled out online at www.ourtrail.org/silentauction. Simply choose the event you would like to donate your item to, fill out the form and we’ll take care of the rest.
