We are breaking ground on the Westside Legacy Trail (a safe non-motorized trail along Westside Road, connecting Invermere to Fairmont Hot Springs) this summer. This paved trail will encourage everyone to get out and enjoy the natural world, in a healthy and sustainable way. And, at the same time, deliver a permanent world class amenity that will draw in new faces, and new friends, to our communities.

 

With $1.5M raised in support from you and others like you, we are definitely feeling the love! The Columbia Basin Trust grant is poised for approval, and the BikeBC grant will be known sometime in May, potentially putting us in a prime position to complete up to one half of the Westside Legacy Trail THIS YEAR.
