Celebrating the full completion of the Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail!

Dear donors and friends of Greenways and the Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail

The final documents are being signed and the trail is about to be declared fully completed and transferred to RDEK for care and management.  And we want to celebrate with you!

Please join us on September 10, 2022 on the trail to celebrate!  Come walk, bike, run, wave to your friends and neighbours, and stop at the Parking Area by Grey Wolf Pond to say hello, have a snack, get a photo, and say HIP HIP HOORAY!  The event will run rain or shine from 9 – noon.

The Parking Area is located approx 10 KM from the North Trailhead, and 15KM from the South Trailhead.  Washrooms are available.

Note that the originally scheduled Barn Dance has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.  It’s just not the time for a Barn Dance, but it IS the time to celebrate!
