Segment 6 – Lakeview

Segment six, named Lakeview, begins where the old abandoned road (circa 1924) emerges from private land owned by the Nature Trust of BC. If you like wide open spaces on a road bike, this segment will delight with an unrestricted view of the Fairmont Range and Lake Windermere. Access to the Hoodoo Trail and other Nature Trust “hiking only” trails are just past this 5.6 kilometer section, and is built upon land donated by the BC Ministry of Transportation
