Segment 3 – Brady Creek

Segment three, named Brady Creek, begins in a cool, well shaded ravine. The creek flows out of a narrow slot canyon and the wide Brady Creek bridge will be the perfect spot to watch for Eastern Brook trout, Westslope cutthroat trout, and Mountain Whitefish. Trail users will enjoy the picnic area near the water and after emerging from the ravine near Ruault Road are welcomed by a relatively flat segment, followed by a rocky uprising before continuing along a shaded slope towards the Johnston Creek area. Although this segment is only 1 kilometer long, it contains one of the most picturesque areas of the entire trail and is built upon land donated by the Hemmelgarn family, Shaunessy Ranch Ltd., and the BC Ministry of Transportation.
